Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment announced awardees for the National Award for the Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, 2011. The awards shall be conferred by H.E. the President of India at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi on 3^rd December, 2011. In 1969, the Government of India approved a Scheme for giving National Awards to the outstanding employers of persons with disabilities.
